The record
A render tells you what a place is meant to become. A dated photograph tells you where it had got to on one particular day. This page is the second kind — every frame we have taken at South Ex-I, with the date it was taken.
The SCO blocks we photographed were standing at ground plus three floors with glazing in and terrace railings fitted. Ground-floor shutters were down. There were to-let boards on the upper floors and one business sign on an upper floor. The forecourt was still earthwork, with paving only partly laid and reinforcement bar lying by the entrance pylon. Next door, TDI's Park Street building had McDonald's drive-thru and Pizza Hut signage up.
Taken from public areas. EXIF location data removed. To-let boards belonging to other people have been blurred so their phone numbers are not published here. Park Street is a separate TDI building next to South Ex-I and is shown for context.
