Privacy Policy

What we collect when you enquire with us, why we collect it, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how you can see, correct or delete it. Written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

In short: we collect your name, mobile number and (sometimes) email so an advisor can call you about a property. We use cookies and pixels from Google and Meta to measure which ads work. We share your details only with the people needed to help you — our advisors, the developer of a project you asked about, and the software we run on. We do not sell your data. You can ask us to stop contacting you, or to delete your data, at any time.

1. Who we are

Fidus Realty is the real estate advisory business of Fidus Assets Pvt Ltd, working from an office in Sector 117, Mohali, Punjab, India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data you give us on fidusrealty.com, on our lead forms on Facebook, Instagram and Google, and over phone, WhatsApp and email.

2. What we collect

WhatWhen
Name, mobile numberWhen you fill an enquiry, site-visit or callback form, or a lead form inside a Facebook, Instagram or Google ad
Email addressWhen you choose to give it, or verify it with a one-time code to see a price or cost breakdown
Your answers on our formsPreferred call time, budget range, intended use (own home, investment, holiday home), buying timeline, city
What you tell our advisorsNotes from calls, WhatsApp chats and site visits about the home you are looking for
Technical and campaign dataThe page you landed on, the ad or link that brought you (for example utm tags and Google/Meta click identifiers), device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address

We do not ask for Aadhaar, PAN, bank details or other identity documents through this website. Those are only needed later, for a registry or loan, and are handled directly with you, the bank and the sub-registrar office.

3. Why we use it

We use your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or message us, and only for these purposes:

  • to call or message you back about the property or project you asked about, and to arrange site visits;
  • to suggest other properties that fit what you told us, if you have not asked us to stop;
  • to share your enquiry with the developer of that project, where we are its marketing partner (see section 5);
  • to keep a record of our conversations so you don't have to repeat yourself;
  • to measure which of our adverts and pages lead to genuine enquiries, so we spend less on the ones that don't;
  • to keep the website secure and stop spam;
  • to meet our legal obligations.

4. Cookies, pixels and ad measurement

fidusrealty.com uses the following third-party tools. They set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.

ToolWhat it does
Google Analytics 4Counts visits and actions on the site (pages viewed, form submitted, call or WhatsApp button tapped, video watched)
Google Ads conversion trackingTells Google Ads when someone who clicked our ad later sends an enquiry or taps call/WhatsApp. When you submit a form, your mobile number may be sent to Google in hashed (scrambled, one-way) form so Google can match the enquiry to an ad click — this is Google's "enhanced conversions" feature.
Meta PixelTells Meta (Facebook/Instagram) when someone who saw or clicked our ad visits the site or sends an enquiry

We use this information in aggregate to judge our advertising. Google and Meta process it under their own privacy policies (Google, Meta). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use Google's My Ad Center or Meta's ad preferences to limit personalised ads, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site keeps working if you do.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Our advisors and staff, who need it to call you and help you.
  • The developer or its sales team for a specific project you enquired about, where we are that developer's marketing partner — only your name, number and enquiry, so they can show you that project.
  • Service providers who process data for us, under contract and only on our instructions: our CRM and WhatsApp messaging platform (FidusFlo), website hosting, email, Google (Analytics, Ads) and Meta (Pixel, lead forms).
  • Banks or legal professionals, only if you ask us to connect you with them.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. Where they do, it is only in countries not restricted by the Government of India under the DPDP Act.

6. How we contact you

After you enquire, an advisor will call or WhatsApp you on the number you gave us. You may also receive WhatsApp messages from our business number (+91 98142 78910) with project details and follow-ups. You can stop these at any time by replying STOP, telling your advisor, or writing to us (section 11). Stopping marketing messages does not delete your data — ask for that separately if you want it.

7. How long we keep it

Buying a home often takes months, sometimes years, so we keep your enquiry and conversation history for as long as you remain in touch with us or until you ask us to stop or to delete it, whichever comes first. If you ask us to delete your data we will do so within 30 days, except for anything we must keep by law (for example records connected to a completed sale), which we keep only for the period the law requires. Website analytics data is deleted automatically by Google Analytics at the end of the retention period set on our account.

8. How we protect it

Our website runs over HTTPS. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it, on accounts protected by passwords. Forms are checked for spam and abuse. No system is perfectly secure; if a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

  • Access — ask what personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
  • Correct or update — ask us to fix anything inaccurate or incomplete;
  • Erase — ask us to delete your data;
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, as easily as you gave it. We then stop using your data for that purpose (this does not affect what was done before);
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity;
  • Raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (section 11). We will reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first, usually by messaging from the mobile number you enquired with.

10. Children

Our services are for adults buying, selling or leasing property. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
